How it works
How an order works
Product questions, a yard count, or a delivery: call or text +1 (281) 808-7955. Texts reach the counter through Square. We load at 13450 South Freeway and run deliveries across the Houston area.
We will deliver as far as you are willing to pay for, but past about 20 miles from the yard the delivery cost usually outweighs the cost of the material, so at that distance it stops making sense. There is no minimum order. Fees depend on distance and load size, so call for a quote.
If you would rather pick up, drive in during hours and we load your truck or trailer: Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm, Saturday 7am to 12pm, closed Sunday.
There are two yards on this one property. Customers buy and load at the retail yard. A tandem or an eighteen-wheeler, roughly ten yards and up, is rung up at the retail yard and then sent back to the production yard to load.
Trucks
The trucks, and more than one material on one truck
Deliveries run on the family company's own trucks. The smallest one holds about 5 to 8 cubic yards, and that is the one that fits most residential streets.
A split load puts two materials on the same truck, compost and mulch, or sand and a soil blend, so a job that needs both does not pay for two trips. Split loads run on our intermediate truck, which carries three to four cubic yards of each material.
Weight, not volume, is what limits a split load. Lawn Mix is the heaviest blend we make, so five yards of it and five yards of another blend would put the truck over. Call and we will work out the combination.
