Rock and gravel in Houston
These two are stocked, not made here. We carry them so a customer buying mulch or soil does not make a second stop for stone, and so a customer coming in for stone finds the mulch and soil.
Decomposed granite is half-inch minus, which means the fines are still in it, and the fines are what let it pack down into a firm surface. That is the one for a path, a drive, or a low-maintenance area you will walk on. Black Star Gravel is a dark angular gravel screened to 5/8 inch with the fines taken out. It is used for driveways, pathways, decorative beds, and drainage.
Orders run one to four yards at a time, sized to the truck or trailer you bring. Both are sold in bulk by the cubic yard, and we load at the yard or deliver.
